Biography

Hieronymus Harry invokes a time, place, and feeling that is strikingly different from our present moment. Harkening back to the late 1960s when artists like Pentangle and Donovan conjured madcap, mystical worlds, Hieronymus Harry’s music merges playful improvisation with mesmerizing, psychedelic folk compositions. Shindig! Magazine expresed, “the music of Hieronymus Harry is rather singular and seems to gladly exist out of time.” His debut album, The River of Doom was independently released in 2022, with a vinyl pressing soon after courtesy of Echodelick (US) and Ramble Records (AUS) in 2023. Notable appearances include Ontario music festivals such as Do West Fest (2024), Oscillitarium (2021-23) and Hollowfest (2019), as well as shows with Sir Richard Bishop (Sun City Girls), Marker Starling, Hayden Pedigo, and more.

Hieronymus Harry is the songwriter-pseudonym of Harrison Forman, the Toronto-based guitarist and collaborator to many, including artists such as Bart, Matthew ‘Doc’ Dunn, ROY, Shirley Hurt and ZONES.
